Since 2023, we have proudly supported Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity (the Charity) an organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of children with complex medical needs. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that these children and their families receive the care and support they deserve.

In December 2024, the charity was chosen as the official Christmas Appeal partner for the Daily Express , a testament to their vital work and mission to establish more Roald Dahl Nurses across the UK.

The Life-Changing Role of Roald Dahl Nurses

It is hard for most of us to imagine what life is like for children with complex medical conditions. Their families are often searching for answers before they get a diagnosis, and navigating treatments and tests afterwards. They’re often under the care of multiple specialists, at multiple hospitals across the UK, but they also face extensive needs beyond traditional healthcare. This reality makes navigating the healthcare system and coordinating their care complex and confusing for families.

Roald Dahl Nurses – change that experience. They join families on this journey, helping them navigate the healthcare they need, and becoming an ally and advocate in hospital and at home. They help families feel more confident and less isolated. And by co-ordinating care and being a point of call throughout these crucial years of childhood, they reduce pressure on the NHS, too.
